We are the oldest Good Sam Chapter in South Carolina. Our members are from different areas of the state (and country), which keeps us interesting. We plan our camp outs in November for the upcoming year. We camp 10 months. Most camp outs are the fourth week of the month, but due to holidays and rallies that is not always true. We are a flexible group that enjoys fellowship, fun and games - and of course food. We keep our campouts family oriented and enjoy having good clean fun.

Low Country Sams
Phillip Schroyer, Pres
We are made up of members from Mt Pleasant, James Island and the Summerville areas. We usually meet once a month on the last full weekend of the month. We have 15 rigs in the club with 10 or 11 that regularly attend. We make the camping schedule up for the whole year and one or two members pick a weekend they would like to host, meaning they decide on a campground and set up the weekend. We do some charity work also. Proceeds go toward sending under-privileged children.
Palmettto Sams
Truitt Hardwick, Pres
There are 21 rigs in the Chapter, with members living primarily in Horry County between Conway, Longs, Little River, Myrtle Beach and Surfside, but we also have out-of-state full-timers. We try to get together at least once a month. We camp in the TN mountains, Plant City FL for the the Spring Strawberries and James Island County Park for our annual Christmas party and the beautiful Christmas light displays. We also camp at various other Campgrounds of interest to the members. We are involved in a variety of Community programs. We hope you'll join us at a campout and consider joining our fun-loving Chapter.
